Job summary

Pro Tapes LLC is seeking a manufacturing machine operator to run slitting equipment safely and efficiently to meet customer specs. You will follow training criteria, set machines, inspect outputs, and report issues to maintenance and QA as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Good command of the English language.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders for processing.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machines in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner to meet customer requirements.
• Independently or with others, ensure safe operation of a slitting machine per training criteria.
• Follow work orders and translate data into proper settings and procedures.
• Check output for specifications and visually inspect goods; inform QA for non-conforming items.
• Report process and equipment problems to management or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Adhere to policies, rules and procedures; maintain area safety and housekeeping.
• Meet production quality and quantity standards; follow production schedules.
• Utilize HQMS and Sage 500 ERP/DSCS systems effectively.
• Maintain safety protocols at all times.
