Job summary

Mancan Staffing is seeking an experienced Slitter Line Operator for our client in Strongsville, OH. The role is 1st shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a temp-to-hire path.

The operator will safely and efficiently run slitting equipment and ensure quality and productivity standards. Candidates should have at least one year of slitter experience, be able to lift 50 pounds, pass a measurement test, and work well with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Slitter Operator experience required.
• Experience operating a press machine.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a measurement test.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup - Configure and set up the slitting machine according to job specifications.
• Material Loading - Load coils or rolls onto the slitter and ensure proper alignment and tension.
• Production Operation - Operate the slitter, monitor quality, meet production goals, and follow safety procedures.
