Job summary

Mancan Staffing is seeking experienced F&P Operators for a temp-to-hire role in Strongsville, Ohio. Pay is $18.00 per hour for the 2nd shift.

You will operate slitter equipment, inspect products, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean 5S workspace while following safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous slitting experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand paperwork and tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitter machines and rewind tables.
• Inspect, catch, and pack products coming off the press.
• Inspect labels and products for defects.
• Perform required quality checks.
• Conduct inspections in the packing area.
• Use computer systems to issue and receive product to work orders.
• Print and prepare core, box, and shipping labels.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Assist other F&P Operators with packing as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized 5S work area.
• Follow all applicable safety, environmental, quality, work, and operating procedures.

F&P OPERATOR TEMP-TO-HIRE

Strongsville, Ohio | $18.00 per hour | 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Mancan Staffing is currently seeking experienced and dependable F&P Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity with our client in Strongsville, Ohio.

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating slitting equipment while maintaining product quality and meeting productivity standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate slitter machines and rewind tables
• Inspect, catch, and pack products coming off the press

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods while working at a machine
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed

REQUIRED

• Successful completion of a national background check
• Successful completion of a drug screen
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• This location is not accessible by public transportation
