The Slitter Exit Operator provides operational and technical support to the exit end of the slitting line. The primary objective is to safely and efficiently manage the recoiling, packaging, quality control, and offloading of slit steel strips. This role requires day-to-day teamwork and clear communication to ensure a continuous supply of quality raw material to the tube mill.
The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to ourcustomers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality ManagementSystem and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.

You must be able to safely lift, pull, and load up to 50lbs. The employee must also be able to work inside a mill environment under a variety of seasonal climate conditions. Candidates must be flexible with shifts, hours, overtime hours, and rotating schedules.
