Job summary

PTC Liberty Tubulars LLC is seeking a manufacturing operator to supervise the slitting of master coils into smaller lots and maintain tight tolerances.

The role requires reading and following instructions, basic math, and working with measuring devices. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with at least 6 months in manufacturing and forklift/crane certifications preferred. The position is on-site and safety-focused.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift certification and crane certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE.
• Set up and record gaps and slit widths, and record sizes.
• Maintain equipment by inspecting, greasing, and reporting maintenance issues.
• Clean equipment and keep the work area clean.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Mill Supervisor.
