Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Technician to support patients with prescribed sleep therapy devices. You will set up equipment, educate patients and caregivers on usage and maintenance, and provide compassionate customer service to promote therapy adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of in-person customer service experience.
• Strong customer service and patient-support skills.
• Ability to clearly explain equipment instructions and technical information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, caregivers, and team members.
• English proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Learn electronic patient-record and equipment-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure sleep therapy equipment per prescribed settings.
• Set up equipment and teach patients and caregivers how to use, clean, and maintain it safely.
• Explain equipment features, warranties, and safety information.
• Answer patient questions and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Follow up with patients regarding equipment use and compliance.
• Encourage and support patients in following prescribed therapy.
• Assess and update patient care plans as needed.
• Monitor patient responses to equipment and services.
• Document all patient and customer interactions.
• Address concerns and refer complaints to the appropriate team.
