Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Polysomnography Trainee in Ohio to develop foundational polysomnographic skills under the direct supervision of an RPSGT. You will assist with patient care, testing, and adherence to sleep center protocols in a hospital outpatient setting.

The role emphasizes learning, accuracy, and teamwork, with a structured pathway toward obtaining the RPSGT credential within 18 months of hire. BLS is preferred, and registration tracking will be supported by the center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least six months of customer service experience.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain RPSGT within 18 months of hire.
• Willingness to follow supervision and policies in an outpatient hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision to perform basic polysomnographic testing and patient care.
• Support scheduling, EMR data entry, and patient flow within the sleep center.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and equipment readiness per protocols.
• Adhere to regulations and BRPT pathway requirements.
