Job summary

The Hearing Center in Pensacola is seeking a Sleep Technologist to provide comprehensive evaluation of sleep disorders, including in-center and HSAT testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, patient education, and oversight of other Sleep Center staff. Under the Sleep Center Director, you will prepare studies, calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, and ensure procedures meet accepted standards.

You will collect, review, and score data following AASM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Accredited program completion in sleep technology.
• Certification CPSGT/RPSGT/SDS credential.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Ability to follow HIPAA and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify staff and greet patients with courtesy and respect.
• Inspect, set up, and maintain sleep study equipment and inventories.
• Prepare studies, calibrate equipment, apply sensors and electrodes.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events per AASM standards.
• Generate accurate reports and ensure patient safety and compliance.
