Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certification/Registered preferred.
• Must be enrolled in or have completed the A-STEP Online Self Study Modules.
• Non-registered technologists must complete A-STEP modules within two years of enrollment.
• Proficiency in performing polysomnographic recordings and analysis is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic polysomnographic testing and setup for patients.
• Calibrate equipment, perform testing, document and troubleshoot recordings.
• Oversee, educate, and train PSG students and technologists.
• Participate in performance improvement and new program development.
• Provide patient care through assessment, observation, and documentation.
