Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Sleep Technologist to perform comprehensive sleep evaluations and therapies, overseeing in-center and at-home studies under medical director supervision.

The ideal candidate is credentialed in sleep technology with valid Virginia license or eligible and certified by RST/RPSGT/SDS, has CPR/BCLS, and can educate patients while maintaining high data quality and rapport with the care team.

Qualifications

• Virginia license in Polysomnographic Technology is required.
• Credentialed by a recognized board (RST, RPSGT, SDS).
• CPR or BCLS certification required.
• Experience with sleep study software and electronic documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, educate, and setup sleep studies (in-center or home testing).
• Calibrate sensors and perform PAP fittings.
• Monitor studies, document data, and score sleep stages.
• Generate reports and manage patient care across lifespan.
• Maintain equipment and ensure HIPAA compliance.
