Job summary

Pivotal Health seeks an experienced RPSGT to join our Northwestern Kishwaukee sleep lab in DeKalb, IL. The role focuses on daytime sleep studies, equipment setup, data collection, and scoring of clinical events under standard polysomnography procedures.

We offer competitive hourly rates based on experience and a collaborative environment with opportunities to support MLSTs as needed during the day. Strong certification and BCLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher education level.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT".
• Certification in basic life support (BCLS) and/or CPR.
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.

Responsibilities

• facilitating tests and collecting data
• responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
• required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Accredited Polysomnography program

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification

Basic life support (BCLS) / CPR certification

Pivotal Health is seeking an experiencedRPSGT to work in our Northwestern Kishwaukee sleep lab. The position will provide sleep services during the day and facilitate MLSTs as needed during day hours.
