Job summary

Pivotal Health is seeking experienced sleep technicians for PRN, part-time and full-time RPSGT roles. Positions are available across SSM locations in Missouri. The ideal candidate must hold RPSGT licensure and have meaningful sleep laboratory experience.

Responsibilities include facilitating tests, collecting data, preparing equipment, and scoring clinical events. Candidates should maintain polysomnography procedures, proper safety standards, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher education level.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred.
• Certified nationally (for ND) by the BRPT as an RPSGT or certification as an RRT preferred.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR.
• Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating tests and collecting data.
• Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
• Following proper polysomnographic procedures including electrodes, sensors, calibration, and fitting of airway pressure masks.
• Analysis (scoring) of clinical events and tabulation of final data for review.
• Compliance with safety regulations and laws.

Pivotal Healthpartners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities will include:

• facilitating tests and collecting data
• responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
• required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or higher education level
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
• Certified nationally (for application to ND) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
• Current BCLS certification
• Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
• Travel maybe required 10% of the time
