Job summary

SLEEP RX LLC in Baltimore, MD is urgently seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with SDS for a full-time night shift.

The successful candidate will perform sleep studies, operate equipment, collect data, monitor studies, and ensure safety and quality while meeting protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be a RPSGT or an RRT with SDS to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.
• Education: High school diploma or higher; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
• Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.

Pay Range

$35to $50 an hour, based on experience

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification

• The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
