Job summary

Sleep Rx seeks a qualified Polysomnographic Technologist or Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification for a full-time night shift in Valhalla, NY. The candidate will conduct polysomnographic tests, accordingly prepare and monitor equipment, and ensure accurate data collection for diagnostic studies.

The role requires RPSGT or SDS-certified RRT, valid US licensure, and BCLS. Night hours are from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
• RPSGT certification required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; safety compliant.
• US work authorization (E-Verify) required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Prepare and calibrate polysomnography equipment and apply electrodes and sensors.
• Monitor, record patient activity, and document clinical events during studies.
• Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.

Sleep Technologist, Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS Certification

We are urgently seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with their SDS certification for a full-time night shift position in Valhalla, NY. This role involves providing sleep services to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

* Must be a RPSGT or a RRT with SDS to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.

* Shift: Overnights 8:00 PM-6:00 AM

Pay Range: $40 to $60 an hour, based on experience

Polysomnographic Technologist and Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification

• The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
