Job summary

Sleep Rx in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with SDS certification for a full-time night shift position.

The ideal candidate will have a current state license, RPSGT or SDS-certified SDS, and will perform testing, data collection, and equipment setup for polysomnography. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and a willingness to work overnights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be a RPSGT or RRT with SDS to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program is required.
• BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes.
• Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.

Sleep Technologist, Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS Certification

We are urgently seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with SDS certification for a full-time night shift position in Wilmington, NC. This role involves providing sleep services to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

* Must be a RPSGT or a RRT with SDS to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.

* Shift: Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

Pay Range: $30 to $40 an hour, based on experience.

Polysomnographic Technologist and Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
• Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify participation)
