Job summary

Sleep Rx in Fishkill, NY is seeking a Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) or an RRT with SDS certification for a full-time overnight role. The position focuses on polysomnography testing and patient care with a required state licensure and SDS certification.

The overnight shift runs 8:00 PM–6:00 AM. Compensation ranges from $40 to $60 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k), PTO and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS certification
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
• Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify participation)

Responsibilities

• Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
• Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.

Sleep Technologist, Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist with SDS Certification

We are urgently seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with their SDS certification for a full-time night shift position in Fishkill, NY. This role involves providing sleep services to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

* Must be a RPSGT or a RRT with SDS to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.
