Job summary

Advocate Health’s Sleep Center in Chicago is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnography and related sleep testing. You will prepare and apply monitoring equipment, score sleep stages, and deliver accurate reports while supporting patient education and safety.

The role requires 2+ years in polysomnographic tech, BLS, and one of the sleep-technologist certifications (RPSGT/RST/RRT-SDS); night shifts with a 7:30p–6:00a schedule and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification required.
• Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or RST, or RRT-SDS certification.

Responsibilities

• Selects monitoring electrodes and prepares PAP mask fittings; educates patients.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and documents results accurately.
• Implements interventions including CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen therapy.
• Maintains equipment and ensures data quality during testing.
