Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a polysomnographic technician for the Sleep Center. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, scheduled Monday–Friday 7:30 am–4 pm, with work primarily at Park Ridge, IL and some shifts in Barrington, IL.

You will place monitoring equipment, score sleep stages, and assist with CPAP/BiPAP titration, MSLT, and home sleep tests. Licensure requirements include BLS, BRPT/RPSGT/RST or NBRC SDS credentials, and an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Experience in polysomnographic testing and patient monitoring.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to educate patients and staff on sleep procedures.

Responsibilities

• Selects monitoring electrodes and PAP masks; educates patients about testing.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and documents data.
• Performs CPAP/BiPAP titration and related sleep studies.
• Maintains equipment and ensures data quality.
