The role ensures accurate workflows, compliance, and a positive patient experience, acting as a liaison among patients, physician offices, hospitals, support services, and payors. The candidate should have 2–4 years in customer service, healthcare exposure, strong organization, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Healthcare setting or healthcare-related organization experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Lives in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sleep study scheduling and patient coordination.
• Receive and enter sleep study orders into designated systems, ensuring medical necessity aligns with physician orders.
• Schedule patients for sleep studies in a timely manner according to policy.
• Obtain and verify demographic and medical information during scheduling.
• Inform and respond to patient and physician questions regarding the sleep study process.
• Communicate information to internal teams and verify accuracy per Medicare and payer standards.
• Follow up to complete missing or inaccurate information as needed.
• Perform duties in HIPAA-compliant, policy-aligned manner.
• Support cross-training and other operational tasks to assist department workflows.
