Qualifications

• AMA approved program in Respiratory Care, EEG, or related health sciences with sleep technology emphasis.
• 6 months sleep study experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; RPSGT/CPSGT/SDS preferred within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Applies sensors and monitoring devices per lab standards.
• Ensures electrode impedances meet standards.
• Documents patient history and sleep disturbances.
• Performs polysomnograms (PSG) with CPAP/BiPAP titration.
• Observes and documents data in the medical record; identifies and corrects artifacts.
