Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Night Shift Sleep Laboratory Technologist at the Arnett Hospital Sleep Lab. The role performs basic and advanced sleep studies, prepares equipment, interviews patients, and ensures testing follows lab protocols. A sign-on bonus of 15,000 USD is available for eligible candidates.

2-year credentialing timeline applies for RPSGT or SDS; BLS is required or must be obtained within 2 years. Night shift differential included; 3-12s schedule 7pm-7:30am Sun-Tue.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years sleep lab experience preferred.
• Must obtain RPSGT or SDS within 2 years of hire.
• Must have BLS certification or obtain within 2 years.
• ABSM credentials honored until updated.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies and supervise staff as needed.
• Prepare patient equipment and interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and explain procedures.
• Monitor patient during testing and intervene as necessary to resolve needs or equipment issues.
• Assist with scoring sleep studies and generating reports.
• Maintain, calibrate, repair and manage testing equipment and report needed repairs.
• Maintain RPSGT credentials according to board requirements.
