Job summary

Bronson Sleep Health Lab in Portage, MI is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to perform, score, and support diagnostic sleep studies under supervision. You will contribute to high-quality patient care and ensure accurate data collection.

The role requires night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) with comprehensive training and active credentials in sleep medicine. A sign-on bonus plus retention bonus may be available for external candidates.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Polysomnography or related field required or strongly preferred.
• Six months direct patient care experience or equivalent program.
• BRPT/NBRC/ABSM credentials and BLS certification are required.
• Knowledge of AASM standards and sleep study procedures is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and in a high‑stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform, score, and support diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies.
• Prepare patients, calibrate equipment, and apply sensors according to standards.
• Independently score sleep/wake stages and medical events per AASM guidelines.
• Generate accurate reports and maintain data integrity.
• Mentor and precept other staff or trainees as needed.
