Job summary

Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking a Sleep Lab Technician for an on-site part-time role. Responsibilities include greeting patients for sleep studies, preparing and monitoring them, and collecting data to guide treatment decisions.

The candidate should be willing to enroll in sleep technology school within 9 months and have at least one year of clinical experience. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.70 per hour, with potential discretionary bonuses and employer benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Willingness to enroll in sleep technology school and schedule exam within 9 months of hire.
• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Must be prepared to complete 960 clinical hours to sit for the RPSGT.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to their sleep study.
• Prepare patients for their sleep study and monitoring.
• Monitor patients during sleep and remain alert for the test duration.
• Collect data during the test to determine treatment needs.
• Determine CPAP oxygen settings during testing.
• Assist patients in leaving after the study and perform related duties.
