Job summary

Community Health Systems is looking for a Sleep Lab Technician responsible for conducting evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders. You will work under general supervision, ensuring quality patient care and accurate data collection.

This part-time position requires an RPSGT certification. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience in polysomnography. We're located in Crestview, Florida, and offer a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in polysomnography or related area required.
• Active Registered Nurse license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders.
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine testing parameters.
• Prepare and calibrate sleep lab equipment for proper functioning.
• Monitor quality of polysomnographic data and resolve artifacts.
• Score sleep stages and generate accurate reports for physician review.

Skills

Knowledge of polysomnographic techniques and diagnostic procedures

Skill in analyzing physiological data and recognizing abnormalities

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols

Effective communication skills for patient interaction and data documentation

Ability to work independently within the scope of the role
