Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital, part of Premier Health Partners, is seeking a Patient Care Support Associate for the Sleep Wake Disorders Center. This role supports patient flow, rooming, vitals, and data entry while communicating with physicians, offices, patients, and coworkers.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with preferred background in registration, billing or patient care in health care settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of related experience.
• Experience in registration, billing or patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move patients through the Sleep Center and assist with rooming.
• Obtain patient vitals and prepare reports for physicians.
• Register patients and enter demographics and charges into the EMR.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling with physicians and sleep technologists.
• Answer patient questions about sleep studies and prepare patients for testing.
• Handle billing tasks and maintain accurate patient charts.
