Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of job-related experience preferred.
• Experience in registration, billing, or patient care in health care.
• Preferred: insurance verification, order entry.

Responsibilities

• Move patients through the Sleep Center and support physicians and offices.
• Manage multiple physicians' schedule templates and patient registrations.
• Enter charges and demographics into the EHR; verify insurance benefits.
• Room patients and obtain vitals; prepare reports for physicians.
• Coordinate billing, scheduling with the Pulmonary office; handle calls.
• Obtain prior authorizations and referrals as required by insurance.
