Job summary

Slalom Flex (Project Based) – Network Technical Project Manager

Please note

This role requires regular travel to local jobsites as well as some out of state travel. We are seeking candidates local to these areas: Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Dallas. Out of state travel will be covered.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee planning, execution, and finalization of multiple network infrastructure projects
  • Manage the deployment of network infrastructure
  • Work across various teams including construction, engineering, operations, and vendors
  • Ensure quality assurance of delivered product
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports
  • Understand the client’s business challenges to help craft effective solutions that address the needs of our clients to achieve their desired outcomes
  • Proactively identify risks and anticipated points of resistance; help develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
  • Work on projects independently and participate as a team member
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical teams, coordinating resources and managing risks to ensure smooth project execution
  • Develop relationships and build trust
What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in program/project management specifically for network infrastructure projects
  • Physical infrastructure experience
  • Experience working with construction teams
  • Ability to go onsite to local and potentially out-of-state build sites several times per month
  • The ability to hit the ground running as a Technical Project Manager
  • Must be able to work independently and navigate ambiguity
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Consulting experience preferred

Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
