Position Details

Position Type: Seasonal - Part Time and Full Time Positions

Wage Range: $14.00 hourly plus tips

Supervisory: No

Supervised By: Sky House FOH Manager

Position Summary

To provide the highest quality of service to guests in accordance with company policies and objectives, to strive toward guest satisfaction, positive employee relations, and profitability by performing the following duties. Delivers food from kitchen to Red Hawk cafe guests. Applicants need to be 15 years or older. Full Time employment preferred.

Essential Functions

• Delivers food orders from kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
• Acts as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicates food orders, paying attention to special requests.
• Assists cashiers by retrieving and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
• Ensures food is served in accordance with safety standards.
• Removes used plates, glasses, utensils from tables after customers are done eating.
• Cleans up water spills, food stains, and debris from tables.
• Takes out trash and recycling.
• Refills paper napkins, condiments, salt, and pepper shakers.
• Clears and cleans the cafe dining area at the end of the day.
• Helps cashiers with side work.
• Must be available on weekends. Typical shift is 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Physical Demands

Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift. Will get breaks as available. Required to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level frequently; use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is inside and outside. All sensory skills needed.

Other Responsibilities

Must have extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and activities. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and are not limited to these items.
