Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain fork truck certification and welding qualification/certification.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or drawings and plan sequence of fabrication and assembly operations.
• Perform basic welding skills; adjust welders to material, select clamps, use jigs/fixtures, flame/plasma cut, drill material and other equipment; grind and polish steel.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions to ensure proper fits.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required; follow safety rules and procedures.
