Olympic Steel in Ohio is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to support safety, quality and efficiency initiatives. You will set up and weld parts per blueprints or schematics and assist with operational, assembly and warehouse tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of MIG experience, can read blueprints, and are mechanically inclined with good math and measuring tool skills. This role offers comprehensive benefits within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety/quality conscious.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of micrometers, calipers, straightedges and similar measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and welding of parts according to blueprint or schematic requirements.
• Assist with operation, assembly and other warehouse duties as needed.
