Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Welding qualification and/or certification
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and read a tape measure
• Must MIG and TIG weld and grind/polish steel
• Fluent in English; understand safety rules and manuals

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or drawings to plan fabrication and assembly operations.
• Perform basic welding; adjust welders, select clamps, use jigs/fixtures, flame/plasma cut, drill material, and grind/polish steel.
• Grind and polish steel to specification.
• Follow instructions and safety procedures; work OT and Saturdays as needed.
