Job summary

JCB Inc. in Pooler, GA, is hiring an experienced Welder to perform advanced welding and fabrication for skid steers and other heavy equipment. You will ensure welds meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires MIG, SMAW, TIG as needed; ability to read blueprints; set up equipment; perform fabrication tasks; maintain clean 5S workspace; and comply with safety and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specs.
• Proficient in MIG, SMAW, and TIG welding.
• Experience with fabrication tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations (GMAW, SMAW, TIG).
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fixtures.
• Perform fabrication tasks: fitting, grinding, cutting, prepping materials.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S work area and follow PPE rules.
