Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical school preferred.
• 12+ months’ related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals in English.
• Basic math and tape measure reading skills.
• Ability to use tools safely; forklift/crane/pallet jack may be required.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and test sheets; organizes parts in logical order.
• Determines work surface and prepares parts for welding.
• Grinds parts as needed for welding and finalization.
• Sets welding gun, operates plasma torch to weld and cut holes.
• Produces quality welds on various metals in multiple positions.
• Inspects welds; ensures conformance to standards.
• Tags products and coordinates inspections with supervisors.
• Operates forklift/bridge crane/pallet jack to move products.
• Adheres to Twin City Fan core values; may take on additional duties.
