Job summary

Doosan Bobcat in North Dakota is seeking an experienced welder to assemble and weld metal components according to layouts, blueprints, and work orders. You will use electric arc welders or spot welders, set up equipment, and ensure welds meet depth and bead specifications.

Responsibilities include preparing welding equipment, inspecting weld quality, keeping the work area clean, and recording production data. A high school diploma and ability to read blueprints are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow established methods and procedures.
• Ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
• Travel Required: < 10%
• Global Breadth: Single-Site (One Location)
• Prerequisite Training Course completed.

Responsibilities

• Sets up electrode wire per procedure and prepares welding equipment.
• Positions and clamps work pieces; assembles them in jig or fixture.
• Speaks arc and guides electrode to form specified fusion depth.
• Examines weld bead size and specifications.
• Cleans welds and removes splatter; operates spot welder as needed.
• Maintains proper tips for spot welding and insures tack integrity.
• Follows safety rules and maintains clean, organized work area (5S).
• Fills production sheets and records information in Oracle inventory system.
• Labels parts with correct quantity and location; performs quality checks.
