Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower in Brookings, SD is seeking an entry-level assembler to support manufacturing operations. You will perform kitting, handle basic hand tools, read blueprints, and follow work orders to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, forklift/ crane operations if required, and maintaining clean work areas while adhering to safety guidelines and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Must work well in team environment.
• Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• May be responsible for the kitting process.
• May maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
• Transport product, parts, and materials by using, forklift, pallet jack, or crane
• Understand and execute work orders provided by VSA's, VSL's or VSM's
• Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all shop orders and blueprints
• Able to use basic hand tools and read tape measure
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
