Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a welding technician in Jacksonville, FL, to perform welding in all positions on structural plate and 6G pipe. You will set up equipment, read blueprints, and ensure welds meet approved criteria while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires familiarity with WPS/PQRs, ability to work in confined spaces, and readiness to operate cranes or forklifts in a fabrication facility environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in welding.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting
• Fluent in understanding job specific WPS / PQR’s and capable of setting machine up for performance in all positions to certify testing criteria
• Ability to work in confined spaces and wear protective gear for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
• Good physical condition; able to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding in all positions on structural plate and 6G pipe.
• Set up machines to certified testing criteria.
• Analyze blueprints for weld insignia and apply to components on piping and structural systems.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding per job requirements.
• Visually inspect welds and interpret fulfilled job requirements with measuring tools.
• Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
• Prepare for ISO 9001 audits.
