Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to perform welding applications within one or more work teams. You will inspect welds per API/ISO specs, help diagnose issues, and train team members to maintain throughput and safety.

The role requires passing periodic welding tests and maintaining quality standards. The candidate should be able to read drawings and welding procedures, lead teammates, and plan ahead to ensure timely, precise welds across vessel, pipe, and nozzle

Qualifications

• At least a High School Diploma; completion of welding tests and qualifications.
• 3+ years welding experience in production environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/run RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes – 3 (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW).
• Set-up/run RT Quality Pipe Weld – All Positions (6G).
• Set-up/run UT Quality Nozzle Welds – All positions (6G).
• Set-up/run Carbon Arc Gouging.
• Able to make any UT or RT Weld Repair.
• Read drawings, WPS’s/PQR’s.
• Lead others and plan ahead – Good.
• Knowledge of PT, MT, UT, RT methods.
