Job summary

You will lead classroom and hands-on instruction, emphasize safety, and prepare participants for entry-level careers. The role requires carpentry expertise, ability to work with employers for exposure to opportunities, and strong leadership to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required.
• NCCER certification or plan to obtain within 3 months.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience in construction with carpentry skills and multi-trade knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver NCCER Core Curriculum instruction.
• Provide safety training, tool operation, and construction math.
• Conduct hands-on skills training to reinforce classroom learning.
• Manage class prep, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Foster relationships with local employers for entry-level opportunities.
• Support field trips and industry engagement activities.
