Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Skilled Trades / Construction Recruiter to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a high-volume recruiting role focused on skilled trades within the construction industry.

Candidates must have 2+ years dedicated recruiting in skilled trades, strong sourcing skills, and the ability to manage multiple openings and deadlines. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated recruiting to skilled trades / construction roles.
• Strong sourcing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and deadlines.
• MSP/VMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking.
• Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
• Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience.
• Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements.
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines.

This role is high-volume recruitingspecific to skilled trades roles within the construction industry. Candidates must have 2+ years of dedicated recruiting to skilled trades / construction roles(we arenotconsidering those with primarily light industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, IT, tech, etc. backgrounds).

• Location:Austin, TX
• Salary Range:$50,000-65,000/yr (depending on experience)
• Incentive:$2,500-$3,500 in monthly incentives/commission
• Hours:40+ hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
• Benefits:Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated recruiting to skilled trades / construction roles
• Strong sourcing skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure when addressing regular high-demand requests and needs
• Bilingual a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly
• MSP/VMS (vendor management) experience a plus
• Avionte, JazzHR, and/or Fieldglass experience a plus
