Job summary

BUILD SERVE INC. in Orlando, FL is hiring for a full-time, on-site Skilled Trades position. You will perform hands-on work across carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or related fields, following work orders and drawings to complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities include inspecting work, maintaining tools, and coordinating with supervisors and other trades to ensure safety and quality on diverse projects in the community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated trade skills in one or more areas and safe, hands-on work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic work orders, diagrams, measurements, and safety instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality in all tasks.
• Commitment to safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork with supervisors and colleagues.
• Reliable work habits, punctuality, and meeting project deadlines.
• Physical ability to stand and lift and work indoors/outdoors as needed.
• High school diploma preferred; trade certifications or vocational training beneficial.
• Previous skilled-trade experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on trade work: installation, repair, maintenance, and assembly as required.
• Read work orders and technical drawings, use tools safely, and complete tasks to standards.
• Inspect work and finished products; coordinate with supervisors and team to resolve issues.
• Maintain tools and materials; follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Keep records of work performed and collaborate with other trades on projects.
