Job summary

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking a Skilled Trades Education Training Manager in Utah to mentor and coach instructors, shaping student outcomes and program quality. You’ll lead a team, foster teamwork, and champion talent development while impacting the school’s success.

You will partner with instructors to enhance delivery and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, while advocating for students and collaborating across departments to solve challenges.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in teaching and/or management in transportation or STEM fields.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, and strong relationship-building.
• Skills: Proven leadership and people-management abilities.
• Skills: Experience designing onboarding and cross-training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Education department, nurturing your team’s growth.
• Elevate learning experiences by partnering with instructors to improve programs.
• Be the compliance champion, ensuring educational operations meet standards.

Skills: Strong people management, leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and levels
