Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Solar Installer to assemble, install and maintain photovoltaic systems on roofs and structures in accordance with site plans and safety rules.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Solar Installer or equivalent construction experience.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Able to understand and follow directions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Install PV systems according to drawings, schematics and instructions using hand and power tools.
• Lay out, assemble and install solar modules and support structures as specified.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies in PV installation or materials.
• Install labels on system components and hardware.
• Verify system functionality and conformance to performance expectations.
