Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a field technician to support inspection and commissioning of photovoltaic plants. You will perform mechanical and electrical inspections, document results, and assist with troubleshooting. You will also ensure PPE use and safety standards are followed on site.

Responsibilities include completing commissioning docs, leading testing efforts, and coordinating with the commissioning team to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Training or education in photovoltaic systems preferred.
• Experience in PV installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection and testing of PV plants to specs and documents.
• Complete commissioning documentation during inspection.
• Document issues and deliver docs for review by GC/FM.
• Perform LOTO duties per policies and safety procedures.
• Lead other technicians to ensure quality and safety.
