Job summary
Centennial School District is seeking an Maintenance I (Skilled) - Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems, lighting, and related building components across district facilities. You will support Building Supervisors with electrical projects, inspections, and other building maintenance tasks.
The role is Non-Exempt with 260 days per year and a compensation agreement within the School District.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and a training program required.
- 5–7 years of extensive maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs skilled electrical work in installation, maintenance, repair, and construction of electrical systems and equipment in public school facilities.
- Performs preventative electrical maintenance and service on district electrical systems.
- Assists with HVAC tasks including maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Operates hand and power tools and transports heavy equipment as needed.
- Responds to emergencies, power failures and storm-related issues promptly.
