Job summary

You will work with a team of electricians, respond to after-hours emergencies as needed, and may require flexible hours or shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Strong organizational skills; quick learner.
• Must pass background check and meet insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in preventive and routine maintenance on district electrical systems.
• Completes departmental reports, documentation and work orders.
• Troubleshoots, installs and repairs intercom systems.
• Performs code-required maintenance, testing and inspections; assists contractors with inspections and deficiencies.
• Endorses development of parts inventory and coordinates with parts manager.
• Collaborates with electricians on large projects and circuits/equipment.
• Shares on-call rotation for the department.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
