Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking a Skilled Registered Nurse to join our home health team in Plainview, TX. This PRN, part-time hourly position focuses on delivering high‑quality clinical care during patient visits and coordinating with the care team.

You’ll perform skilled nursing visits, wound care, IV infusions, and patient assessments while developing individualized care plans. Must have active RN license, 1 year experience, and reliable transportation to travel between patient visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Own device and reliable internet connection to access schedule and complete charting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete skilled nursing visits and patient assessments.
• Provide wound care, medication administration, and IV infusions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and changes in condition.
• Communicate with physicians and the care team.
• Complete required clinical documentation.
• Travel between patient visits.

What You’ll Do

• Complete skilled nursing visits and patient assessments
• Provide wound care, medication administration, and IV infusions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans

We serve Medicaid and private‑pay patients, so NO OASIS documentation is required.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Experience in ER, Med‑Surg, acute care, or similar settings
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage patient visits
