Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is hiring Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes. This role focuses on one patient at a time, allowing you to build a consistent relationship with the child and family.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of tracheostomy and ventilator care is a plus, but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care in the home.
• Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Monitor the patient and provide care based on their needs.
• Assist with daily care routines and maintain patient comfort and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care in the home

Pay & Schedule

• $30-$35 per hour, based on experience
• Weekly pay
• Day and night shifts available
• Night differential for 7 PM-7 AM shifts

What You’ll Need
