Job summary

BrightStar Care Amarillo is seeking a Registered Nurse for one-on-one patient visits across the Amarillo area. You’ll work with a supportive clinical and office team while delivering focused, field-based care.

Key responsibilities include wound care, IV infusions, medication administration, and educating patients and families. Ensure timely documentation and coordinate with the care team for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing visits based on each patient’s plan of care.
• Perform wound care, medication administration, and IV infusions.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on their care needs.
• Coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team.

BrightStar Care Amarillo is looking for a Registered Nurse who enjoys one-on-one visits, clinical variety, and having flexibility in the field. You’ll work directly with patients while having the support of our clinical and office team when you need it.

What You’ll Do

• Provide nursing visits based on each patient’s plan of care

• No OASIS — we work with Medicaid and private-pay patients

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license
• Experience in ER, Med-Surg, acute care, or a similar clinical setting preferred
• Wound care experience is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage visits in the field
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
