Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking Pediatric Registered Nurses to provide private duty nursing to pediatric patients in their homes, focusing on one patient at a time and building a consistent family relationship.

We offer flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and a meaningful, family-centered work environment. Night shifts available with differential; weekly pay and local coverage in Lubbock, TX.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Own device and internet connection for scheduling/charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care in the home.
• Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Monitor patient and provide care as needed.
• Assist with daily care routines and ensure comfort and safety.
• Communicate with family and care team.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation.

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is hiring Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes. This role allows you to focus on one patient at a time while building a consistent relationship with the child and family.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care in the home
• Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care
• Monitor the patient and provide care based on their needs
• Assist with daily care routines and maintain patient comfort and safety
• Communicate with the family and care team
• Complete accurate and timely documentation

Pay & Schedule

• $30–$35 per hour, based on experience
• Weekly pay
• Day and night shifts available
• Night differential for 7 PM–7 AM shifts
• Lubbock, TX

What You’ll Need

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license
• Minimum1 year of nursing experience
• Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge oftrach and ventilator care is a plus, but not required
• CurrentBLS/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
