Job summary

BrightStar Care Amarillo is seeking dependable Caregivers/Home Health Aides to join our PRN Resource Pool and provide in-home care to clients throughout the Amarillo area. This role is ideal for caregivers who are available to provide coverage for as-needed assignments based on client needs and your availability.

You’ll help clients with daily routines, personal care, and activities that help them remain comfortable and independent at home.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or home health aide experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and Driver's License.
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
• Provide coverage for PRN and as-needed assignments
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders as directed
• Support clients with daily routines and activities
• Communicate client needs and changes to the appropriate care team
